Week 4 NFL Picks

Predictions 1 Comment »

I’m going to try and get a jump start on my picks for this week, being I finished with a horrible 8-8 record for last weeks predictions, bringing my season record to 30-18. I’ve decided to sneak these in before The Office starts at 9:00 PM EST tonight.

2008 NFL Draft Quarterback Rankings

Andre' Woodson, Brian Brohm, Colt Brennan, John David Booty, Matt Ryan, Rankings 1 Comment »

The whole tier system has been overdone when it comes to power rankings, fantasy drafts, etc., but since it’s so early in the draft season I’ve decided to make these quarterback rankings in a tier system to spice some things up. I’ll be honest, some people are going to like this list, others are going to hate it, it’s just how I feel at this point how the draft is going to shake up when it’s all said and done. Again don’t forget, mock draft during the first week of October.

CFB in Terms of Draft Stock, Bye Week

CFB in Terms of Draft Stock, Notre Dame No Comments »

Due to the recent downtime along the internet headquarters of S2S, paired with the recent MLB playoff chase (Go Phils!!), I’ve decided to chalk this week of CFB in Terms of Draft Stock as a bye week. My original idea was to write about Notre Dame, but I was getting tired of hearing about Notre Dame even as I was writing about it. My ideas in a nutshell were to discuss that this year was clearly a rebuilding year for Notre Dame, and that you have to give Jimmy Clausen a lot more time to get acclimated to the college game.

Anyway I’m hopefully looking to pump out another 2008 mock draft sometime early October. Also I haven’t been as involved in the fantasy football process as I’d like to be so far this season. Expect some fantasy posts to come, and if you guys would like to see me post up my Yahoo! Winners League team just let me know…

Week 3 NFL Picks

I’m making my picks earlier this week, for no particular reason. Had a below average week last week, going 10-7 bringing my season record for predicting games to 22-10. Hopefully I can rebound this week, anyway lets take a look at the week 3 action.

Week 3: CFB in Terms of Draft Stock

Andre' Woodson, Brian Brohm, CFB in Terms of Draft Stock, Darren McFadden 1 Comment »

Andre’ Woodson has earned the no. 2 quarterback draft position, and that ranking might rise if his–and the Wildcat–success continues. As the announcers referred to later in the game, there was a reason that Louisville-Kentucky was on ESPN Classic, and it might just be that both Brohm and Woodson could be top 5 picks this April.

Week 2 NFL Picks

Predictions 2 Comments »

Same format as last week, in which I went 12-3 in making my picks. Hopefully the trend continues. As for later this weekend, I might be doing a live blog Louisville @ Kentucky, which will showcase arguably the two best quarterback prospects this year, and I’ll be making my weekly CFB in Terms of Draft Stock post probably sometime on Sunday.
